Yes, brace yourselves, I am in training.
Training for what you ask? Training for this.
That is why I brought the treadmill home. My normal walking wasn’t doing a thing for my body anymore. I could walk 2 miles without breaking a sweat or my heart rate going past 100. Time for the big guns. Right now I’m using the middle incline, for about 18 minutes. Hopefully I will work myself up to the full incline for 25 minutes or more.
This thing that we are doing was/is a gift for our Anniversary from my parents. Apparently my family thinks we will be very good at it. What with my driving and C-man giving directions, we can’t go wrong.
As for being excited? Not sure yet. I am, but yet, I’m thinking how far will we really go. Realistically, I will not be the most fit person there, and any physical challenges could be tough. On the other hand, C-man and I work VERY well together when given directions and we also work well together on tasks. (Thanks to J & A for this! :) )
{Side note: I wonder why I’m not very welcome downstairs during renos then???? That is a whole other post…..}
All in all, I think we can do it. As for the training right now, IT SUCKS! Hopefully I will shed some more pounds in the process.

This sounds like so much FUN!!! Not the training ... the race. I can totally see you and C doing this!!
